Captain's Log - November 18, 2024

Today was a fantastic day on the water! We set out early this morning, greeted by a crisp breeze that hinted at the cooler temperatures to come. Our first target was the feisty bluefish, and they did not disappoint! Armed with our trusty mirror lures, we quickly found success, reeling in some impressive catches that got our adrenaline pumping.

As the morning progressed, we shifted gears and turned our attention to the sought-after speckled trout. With live shrimp in hand, we dropped our lines and were immediately rewarded. The trout were hungry and eager, and we enjoyed a thrilling session of catch-and-keep, with Alex from Tennessee landing some beauties that we carefully placed in the cooler.

The weather warmed up as the day went on, making for a comfortable and enjoyable outing. It was great to share the experience with Alex, who was a fantastic angler and full of enthusiasm.

All in all, it was a productive and memorable day on the water, filled with laughter, great catches, and a beautiful backdrop. We’re already looking forward to our next adventure!

Tight lines,

Captain John

Mate Martin
