OUR INSHORE FISHING VESSEL
Captain John operates a 26'2" Pathfinder HPS. This vessel is powered by a Yamaha 300 HP, ensuring both reliability and performance on the water. Equipped with state-of-the-art Garmin electronics and upper station controls, the boat is designed to navigate efficiently and locate fishing spots. With a center console layout, it offers space and comfort, accommodating up to 6 clients for an unforgettable fishing experience. Captain John’s expertise, combined with the Pathfinder, guarantees a successful and enjoyable outing on the inshore waters of Swansboro, NC.

Captain John operates a 27' Onslow Bay. This vessel is powered by Twin Mercury 350 HP 4-Stroke motors, ensuring both reliability and performance on the water. The boat is designed to navigate efficiently offshore and locate prime fishing spots in all weather conditions. With a center console layout, it offers space and comfort, accommodating up to 4 clients for an unforgettable offshore fishing experience. Captain John’s expertise, combined with the Onslow Bay, guarantees a successful and enjoyable outing offshore of Emerald Isle, NC.
Meet the Mate
Martin Gardner
Martin Gardner is the First Mate of Southern Voyage Fishing Charters. He is a graduate of East Carolina University with a dual degree in biology and entrepreneurship. Martin has over two decades of experience.
Martin is the owner of "The Onslow" you will be boarding. Martin states that the ability to own an Onslow Bay is what I would call the "Sovereign Will". He states that "I was blessed to have worked for Onslow Bay Boatworks and build a connection of possibilities where I had previously had been told would never happen". Martin is a dedicated saltwater waterman, his mission is to inspire, adventure, and cultivate a profound connection with the ocean and the life within it. He has an unwavering commitment to safety and sustainability. Martin likes to help guide the guests through breathtaking marine landscapes, sharing knowledge of the seas while fostering an appreciation for our planet's waters and the marine life it holds.
