### Captain's Log: November 14th – Inshore Adventure Aboard the Pathfinder!
On November 14th, I had the pleasure of taking a fantastic group of anglers on a 4-hour inshore trip around Cedar Point aboard the Pathfinder. The weather was stunning—sunny with a light breeze—creating the perfect conditions for a day of fishing. Our bait of choice for the day was live shrimp, and we were all excited to see what we could catch!
#### First Stop: Targeting Pompano
We arrived at our first fishing spot, a popular area known for its abundance of fish. I explained how to effectively use the live shrimp as bait, and soon we had our lines in the water. It wasn’t long before we started hooking into some beautiful pompano!
The bites were fast and furious, and my clients were thrilled to reel in these delicious fish. The excitement onboard was contagious as we celebrated each catch, and the bright colors of the pompano added to the vibrant atmosphere.
#### Moving On: Speckled Trout and Black Drum
With the pompano in the cooler, we decided to change locations and target speckled trout. After moving to a new spot, we quickly set our lines again with the live shrimp. It didn’t take long before my clients started landing some nice-sized speckled trout, and the energy on the boat was electric.
But the action didn’t stop there! We also hooked into several black drum, adding even more variety to our catch. My clients were on fire, and the thrill of reeling in these different species made for an exciting and memorable day.
#### Wrapping Up the Day
As our 4-hour trip neared its conclusion, we made one final push to see if we could land a few more fish. The sun was shining, and everyone was in great spirits as we continued to reel in some impressive catches.
As we made our way back toward the marina aboard the Pathfinder, the smiles on my clients’ faces reflected the successful day we had. We left with a cooler full of pompano, speckled trout, and black drum, along with unforgettable memories of a fantastic fishing adventure.
Reflecting on the day, I felt grateful for the opportunity to share such a rewarding experience with my clients. November 14th will surely be remembered as a day filled with action, joy, and the thrill of fishing.
